Short Biography of Alissa Parrish

Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Alissa Parrish has lived in the St. Louis, Missouri area with her husband and family for the last 30+ years. Alissa is both an educator and a lifelong learner.  She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, a Master’s degree in Counseling, a Specialist’s degree in Educational Technology, and a Graduate Certificate in Gerontology.  She is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Alissa’s interests in human development, interaction design, and creative expression have led her to an encore career in writing and the visual arts.
